Marta Barandiy runs Asters office in Brussels. She combines strong EU law background with extensive experience working both in private practice and in the public arena. Marta is active in a variety of professional and community organizations, which helps her connect clients and other stakeholders with key EU opinion leaders and policy makers in the EU-Ukraine dimension.

Due to longstanding prior involvement in the public affairs domain, Ms. Barandiy is known for developing public relations strategies for companies across a variety of industries. Marta conducts research and provides regular briefs and updates on key developments in the EU law and practice that may affect Asters' Ukrainian clients. She collaborates with lawyers in the Kyiv office to develop a greater understanding of the process of harmonization of Ukrainian laws and standards with European ones and identify any issues that may arise, such as emerging policy risks and opportunities. Such firm's access to the EU outlook contributes to legal and advocacy skills of its lawyers and enables the team to provide comprehensive advice in various legislative, regulatory, and policy projects.

Ms. Barandiy develops and fosters Asters relationships in Brussels and streamlines communication with firm's clients, friends, and contacts. She also maintains close working relationships with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Belgium, Mission of Ukraine to the EU, Flanders and Wallonia Investment and Trade Agencies.
