The largest merger in the legal market of Ukraine has been completed

On September 27, 2018 the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine cleared merger of Asters and EPAP Ukraine. This completed the departure of EPAP Ukraine from the law firm of Egorov, Puginsky, Afanasiev & Partners.

The newly created firm named Asters Law Firm Attorneys' Partnership was registered on October 1, 2018.

Asters will be managed by a three partner Committee: Oleksiy Didkovskiy, Serhii Sviriba, and Armen Khachaturyan.

The merger was completed and the two firms integrated in just 53 days. This was achieved because both firms share common values and there is a high degree of confidence in the success of the combined firm.

The key focus in the course of this brief integration period was placed on ensuring the continuity of business for the benefit of our clients.

The new firm will have offices in Kyiv and Washington, D.C. and will be Ukraine's largest, with 26 partners and 140 lawyers.
