Asters Supports Ukrainian Students at the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court

As part of continuous corporate social responsibility initiatives, Asters granted a sponsorship to students of Kyiv Institute of International Relations to support participation of the team in the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court held at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main (Germany) on 14-18 March 2011.

Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court is a simulated hearing organized annually by Wilhelm Merton Center on European Integration and International Economic Order. During the competition students learn to present their skeleton arguments before an arbitral tribunal, composed of investment treaty specialists. This year 27 teams from 16 countries took part in the moot, representing leading universities of their states. The team of the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University successfully participated in the competition and became the only team from Eastern Europe which got into Round of Sixteen.
