Asters Senior Associate Elected as Expert to the NERC Public Council

On 2 July 2014, Yaroslav Petrov, Senior Associate of Asters Law Firm, was elected as an expert to the Public Council of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy Sector (NERC).

Yaroslav is confident that his experience will be useful to the Public Council and NERC: "To implement provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On the Foundations of Operation of Electricity Market", to comply with other requirements of the Energy Community, and in connection with Ukraine's signing of the Association Agreement with the EU in 2014, NERC should develop and adopt a number of important and necessary regulations. Within the Public Council, based on experience received from serving our clients I will analyze draft regulations developed by NERC and will help raise issues requiring NERC's attention and action."
