Аsters Holds Round Table of the Ukrainian Bar Association on Agrarian Law

On 13 September, Asters hosted a round table of the Ukrainian Bar Association on agrarian law.

The event brought together experts in the area of agrarian law aimed at discussing a range of topical questions. Oleksiy Kolchanov, Asters' associate, initiated the meeting and moderated the discussion.

The participants of the round table discussed the issues of the mandatory registration of the agricultural products' export contracts by the commodity exchanges and the legal regulation of the organic production of the agricultural goods. They also opined regarding the current status and the prospects of the land law of Ukraine. Oleksandr Potimkov, the first deputy chairman of the State Service of Ukraine on the issues of regulatory policies and the development of entrepreneurship, joined the discussion together with representatives of the Ukrainian Agrarian stock exchange, and colleagues from the leading agricultural companies.

The UBA members, who live outside the capital, had an opportunity to follow the video broadcasting of the meeting at the Ukrainian Bar Association site.
