Asters Earns Tops Rankings for Corporate/M&A and Banking & Finance from Chambers Europe 2009
Asters has once again earned an impressive number of rankings as "Leading Firm" the latest edition of Chambers Europe – The Client's Guide to the Europe's Leading Lawyers for Business, with two Band 1 rankings for Corporate/Commercial and Banking & Finance. The guide has also recognized Asters' Real Estate practice in Band 3, praising its team for acting for clients on leases, preparations, due diligence and internal restructurings.

At an individual level, three of Asters' partners were listed in this edition's "Leading Individuals" tables.

Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan is featured in Band 1 as a leading practitioner for Banking & Finance and listed in the Band 2 for Corporate/Commercial. Mr. Khachaturyan is recommended for his "good academic and practical understanding of complex finance products" and is praised by clients for his "academic, in-depth understanding of corporate matters." Clients mention him as a lawyer who is "technically minded and well versed in Ukrainian law."

Managing Partner Oleksiy Didkovskiy and partner Oleksandr Padalka are recommended for Corporate/Commercial and are listed in Band 2 for that category. Clients call Mr. Didkovskiy "a tenacious M&A lawyer" and recommend him for his expertise in telecoms. The guide praises Mr. Padalka's skills in M&A, trade and commercial law, and clients say he is "a business-oriented operator who deals with your questions right away."

This year's edition also saw one of the firm's partner ranked in the "Up and Coming". Partner Roman Kostenko is "admired for his client-friendly approach and thorough local expertise" in "the corporate and financial aspects of real estate".
