Armen Khachaturyan elected Head of the Committee on Ethics of the Ukrainian Bar Association

The members of the Committee on Ethics of the Ukrainian Bar Association elected Armen G. Khachaturyan, Senior Partner at Asters Law Firm, Head of the Committee.

The Committee on Ethics is the UBA's independent body aimed at ensuring of the UBA members' adherence to the Association's requirements for ethical and moral aspects of their professional activities, monitoring of the UBA's members' compliance with the Lawyer's Ethical Code, the Charter of UBA and other internal documents of the Association. Moreover, the Commission reviews appeals of violation of the Lawyer's Ethical Code, evaluates the activities of the Association's members accused of breaking the Lawyer's Ethical Code, and ascertains the facts of violation of the Ethical Code as a result of the UBA members' actions.
