Philips Ukraine Legal & Compliance Manager Anna Zharova opens the new season of EBA-Asters Legal School

On 8 October 2019, Anna Zharova (Legal & Compliance Manager at Philips Ukraine) held the lecture "How to prepare your company's staff for down raids", and started the 13th season at EBA-Asters Legal Development Program (EBA-Asters Legal School), a unique free of charge platform for Ukrainian legal practitioners sharing experience and best practices to secure legal support and protection of business.

The new season introduces the expansion of the Legal School agenda by the most pressing Ukrainian legal issues in business, such us the role of anti-corruption institutions in eradicating schemes that impede doing business (the lecture will be delivered by Ivan Smely, Senior Detective at the NABU); using technology to monitor employees (lecture by Asters Counsel Inesa Letych); as well as protecting foreign business in Ukraine against fraudulent actions and groundless accusations (lecturer: Leonid Cherniavskyi, Head of Legal at Sanofi in Ukraine). Also within the Legal School's program Asters Partner Oleksii Reznikov will shed the light on the effective communication with counterparties, and Asters Partner Sergiy Grebenyuk and Counsel Orest Stasiuk will talk about law enforcement and business security in the new realities.
