Traditionally, Asters supported the national legal education with The Telders International Law Moot Court Competition. In particular, in 2010 Asters served as the Partner of the National Pre-Selection Round of the competition which took place on 20 February 2010 in the hearing room of the Appellate Commercial Court in Odesa. The event was organized by the Students' League of the Ukrainian Bar Association.

The panel of judges was headed by Anna Poisner, an associate at Asters and a member of the banking, finance and securities team, and also included duly qualified members of the competition's National Board of Review.

To gain the right to represent Ukraine in the International Round of the Competition in The Hague, the Netherlands competed six teams of students. According to the results of the National Pre-Selection Round, the team from the Kyiv International University won and will participate in the legal contest in the International Round. The teams of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and of the Odesa National Law Academy won the second and third places respectively. In addition, the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy's team was awarded for The Best Respondent's Memorial, and Odesa National Law Academy – for the Best Applicant's Memorial. One of the participants from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy team was named The Best Orator of the National Round.

The Telders International Law Moot Court Competition was organized in 1977, with teams of student participants from the Universities of Bonn, Cologne, Strasbourg and Leiden. Through the Competition, students are educated in legal practice and such principles as the rule of law, civil society and fair play. The Competition also stimulates team work and European interaction and integration.

Annually, teams from over 40 universities compete in the national rounds, with around 25 teams from as many European countries going on to represent their countries in the international rounds held at the Peace Palace in The Hague.
